I've been playing with Nokoma gloves for 20+ years, and have never been dissappointed. This glove is big, expertly crafted, and wil be used exclusively for outfield, and possibly 1st base. It was in almost game shape when it arrived. I used a coat of Hestra leather balm, followed by a good woking my break in tool, a 12" ball mounted to a 10" steel bolt. Then wrapped a game ball in the pocket. Several work sessions and Iit was ready to go. I have no doubt this glove will serve me well for the rest of my career.
I've owned this model for 20 years. The glove leather is second-to-none. After a little break in, it wears like iron. Nokona offers an extensive life-time warranty with their gloves, but I never conditioned mine or did a thing to it, I'd highly recommend the extra money it takes to invest in the Nokona brand.
