Are Victus Wood Bats Good?

Nov 11th 2020

Yes. Started in 2012 , they wanted to do one thing, make wooden bats that baseball players love. Bats that felt good to swing. Bats that were proud to hand to their friends. In 2017 and 2018 back-to-back MVP's represented the "V" logo and called Victus their brand. The top line is the pro reserve, which is engineered to exact specifications of the most elite players in the game. The pro reserve line uses the best maple and birch wood. Many players like maple due to the fact that the more you hit with maple, the harder it gets due to the hardened close grained construction. So does birch wood, which is more flexible species of wood than both maple and ash. It reacts to contact in a more complex way. The grains compact over time and create an even harder barrel with increased durability.

Pro Reserve

Grit Series

Grit series is built using the same wood as the pro reserve, but feature a textured matte finish that gives the bat a unique look and feel with extended ball control.
