The bat did not come out the wrapper hot. It took a several games and a couple of people using the bat to break it in. But once the bat was broken in the ball was popping off the bat and the hits and homer runs started adding up.

There are a few things I've noticed in the short time I've owned this bat if you have the money to replace a metal bat then do it. I bought this bat to replace my old miken two piece steel bat and i can not tell you how much of an upgrade it is. This bat is heavily weighted towards the barrel (30 oz. model) but not to the point where it becomes an issue for the singles hitters which was a blessing to my 5'5" female teammate. I added about 60-80 feet instantly after switching b ats and as I have now put about 500 swings on it and the bat is broken in perfectly adding about an additional 10-15 feet after. The only downside to this bat is the fact the grip is too thin for me and wears down rather quickly. other than that this bat is a steal and 100% recommended to anyone needing to be the power bat for their team. if you need to add a few yards to start hitting them out seriously consider buying this bat

Wasnt hot out the wrapper for me did take a couple swings to break it in. But once it got going they were launching with no effort at all.

First thoughts Very visually appealing bat. Have taken about 30 swings with the bat and this bat us hot right out of the wrapper. I was easily adding about 20 yards with almost no effort.Will use this bat for another month or so and will update my reviewEDIT 7/19/19Been using the bat for almost three months and am very pleased.Bat broke in around the 200 mark and has an insane amount of pop now. The paint is chipped here and there but that's to be expected from something that gets thrown around.My only complaint is that the grip the bat came with is too thin/slippery. It made the bat feel like I'm swinging a garden hose since I dont use batting gloves. This is easily fixed with a new grip.Price hurt my wallet but overall 5/5.

From the moment I held this bat in my hands I fell in love. Then after taking only one batting practice with it and only swinging 70% the ball flow off the bat. My teammates will be buying this bat for themselves. It is everything it was advertised to be. And the sweat spot oh my gosh hard to miss it as it is so large. BTW I got the largest and heaviest one they make. When I enter the batters box I feel like I'm a gladiator in the Coliseum. At 59 years old I'm now the stud again. They moved me to 4th so that should seal the deal for you. Good hitting my fellow softball and sport lovers. Game On. 1
