For years, All Star's catcher's mitts and equipment have been highly respected among baseball players who play the position. All Star has now expanded their line of fielders gloves with the introduction of the System Seven Series, catering to the most serious players who demand the best quality and performance. The System Seven Series gloves are constructed from the finest Japanese Maruhashi Black and Tan leather, known for its long-lasting durability and excellent feel. The solid black leather provides a slightly stiffer feel and a long-lasting glove.
The 11.50 inch infield model features a conventional open back and a shallow pocket, designed for easy scooping and quick ball transfer. The Pro Guard Padding inside the glove provides a thin layer of extra padding in the palm that helps to reduce the sting of mis-caught balls, yet is thin enough to still allow the player to know right where the ball is in the glove. This feature is especially beneficial for players who want to improve their catching skills and reduce the impact of hard-hit balls on their hands.
In conclusion, the All Star System Seven Series 11.50 inch infield glove is a top-of-the-line piece of equipment designed for serious baseball players who demand the best quality and performance. The gloves are made from the highest quality Japanese Maruhashi Black and Tan leather, and features Pro Guard Padding for extra protection and a conventional open back and a shallow pocket for easy scooping and quick ball transfer. The System Seven Series gloves are a perfect choice for players who want to take their game to the next level.

Fantastic Glove
Probably the best value you will find in a baseball glove. The quality is excellent, way better than other brands/lines at the same price point. I would put it somewhere between the standard Rawlings Heart of the Hide leather and the HOH Horween leather in terms of quality and stiffness.
One thing to note: I've got pretty small hands, and this glove fits rather snugly, especially in the index and middle finger stalls with the integral palm pad. If you have large hands, you may want to avoid buying this model before having a chance to try one on.
