never owned a kb17 so was curious enough about the size to put a tape to it. 12.25" on the dot. even before that i could tell it just looked longer than other 12" models . . longer web, longer fingers. boxy profile. when i first tried closing the glove, stiff as it was, it felt like trying to close my hand around a disc-shaped object in the palm. if this is not a 207 altogether, it still belongs in the 200 family. unlike the other kb17's, this one doesn't have the thumb-side welt run all the way to the hand stall binding. no chafing risk so no need for the bespoke hand-sewn stuff.

there wasn't really anything that i didn't expect with this one, which i think is a good thing. when you know what you like you look forward to the consistency. long live horween tan.
