The Marucci Shield 2.0 performance sunglasses are designed for optimal on-field use. The lenses, made by Carl Zeiss Vision, enhance clarity and improve visibility while balancing color perception to create high-performing sunglasses. The single-lens design allows for a full range of view on the field and includes interchangeable lenses for easy customization.
When choosing a lens, consider the following options:
- Violet base lenses offer maximum color contrast and are best for bright field of vision in all lighting conditions.
- Grey base lenses are neutral and display colors in their true form. They reduce brightness and glare in high-light conditions.
The Shield 2.0 sunglasses feature Impacto lens technology tested by Zeiss for the highest level of eye protection, a Ri-Pel™ scratch-resistant lens coating that repels dirt, oil, and water in tough weather, and a TR90 sport-specific frame with rust-proof cam hinges for a secure fit. The sunglasses fit comfortably under a hat brim and securely on top of a bill as conditions change. The included interchangeable Impacto charcoal lens, flexible and lightweight design, brow and lens vents, and included case provide additional customization, anti-fog and breathability, and protection during storage and transport. The frame measures 146-0-120 and the lenses are made by Carl Zeiss Vision. Note that certain lens tints are designed for performance and not suitable for driving under ANSI Z80.3 standards.
